Suggestions and Tips on Maintaining Your Vehicle Between Details

• Wash your vehicle at least every 2 weeks. This keeps your car clean and prevents any type of bird droppings, road tar, sap, etc., from doing any damage to the paint. Tires and rims should be cleaned regularly as well. Brake dust can build up on your rims and permanently damage them by pitting and becoming embedded.

• Only wash your vehicle with a car soap made for clear coats.

• Use automatic car washes at your own risk! They use harsh chemicals and can strip some waxes off the car. They also leave your car’s paint exposed to UV damage, bird droppings, tar, and fallout. Your car is best taken care of with hand washing rather than an automatic washer. If you don’t have the time or tools to wash your car’s paint and rims, then we will be happy to provide that service to you.

• On average, a car should have the exterior detailed every 6-12 months. This is up to the car’s owner, but is professionally recommended to make your paint last longer. This depends on whether your vehicle's paint is exposed to the outdoors or kept protected in a garage.

• The interior should be cleaned whenever needed.
